In this issue, Karl Herrmann csc, writes about his experience filming Marilyn: Forever Blonde, a one-woman show starring Sunny Thompson as the legendary Hollywood actress who took her own life at the height of her fame. Gregory Middleton csc recounts working on William Phillips’s Gunless, starring Paul Gross, Graham Greene and Callum Keith Rennie, in the wilds of the B.C. interior, and we profile one of our pre-eminent female DOPs, Kim Derko csc, whose impressive body of work encompasses theatrical features such as The Law of Enclosures and art gallery installations. On a final note, this is the last issue of Canadian Cinematographer before our summer break. We will be back in September. So to all our members, sponsors and readers, have a great summer and see you in the fall! [ Magazine ][ Archives ][ Search ]
